Simple guides to working with the flowers.

Stock vs. treatment bottle

Remedies are sold as concentrated stock bottles. To make a treatment bottle, fill a 30 ml dropper bottle with still water (optionally a little brandy or glycerin to preserve), and add 2 drops of each chosen stock remedy — up to 7 remedies. Rescue Remedy takes 4 drops.

How to take them

From a treatment bottle: 4 drops, at least 4 times a day, on the tongue or in a glass of water. Directly from stock: 2 drops in a glass of water, sipped through the day. In acute moments, take more often.

How long

Take remedies until you feel the shift — often 2–3 weeks for a treatment bottle. Review your feelings regularly and change the mix as your emotions change.

The philosophy

Dr. Edward Bach (1886–1936) believed that emotional balance supports wellbeing. His 38 remedies each address a specific state of mind, gently encouraging its positive counterpart rather than suppressing feelings. Treat the person and the mood, not the symptom.
